Baloch freedom fighter and torture victim Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch has cautioned the people of Balochistan against the hoopla on the
resolution introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“No nation in the world can bag independence for any other nation. We should not be euphoric that an American Congressman or
Senator or State Department has issued a statement in our favor and someone from the world would come for our help,” Dr. Baloch,
who heads the Baloch liberation Front, said.

The freedom leader was commenting from ground zero on Rep. Dana Rohrabacher hearing and resolution on Balochistan’s right to
self-determination.

The resolution has been co-sponsored by Reps. Louie Gohmert and Steve King.

He said until recently all the doors of Pakistan were open for the U.S. but today there is bitterness in their external affairs.

“If someone uses our problem to put some kind of pressure; then we should not be happy on mere words,” Dr. Baloch said.

Dr. Baloch said at some places where the West has their own interests, then they go there with guns, logistics and paraphernalia.

Dr. Baloch gave the example of Libya where 14 to 20 people died in Benghazi and the U.S. and West acted swiftly to end the Qaddhafi
regime within six months.

“But our problem is different. Our challenge is to create a new state on the world map. There is a big difference between creating a new
state and changing an old governmental structure,” the medic said.

Dr. Baloch said his homeland needs the entire world’s moral, diplomatic, media and financial support but not on the condition of
mortgaging the future of Balochistan.

“We understand that if they have taken this initiative …. (after they) have felt the pain and suffering of Baloch then it is good, we
welcome it,” Dr. Baloch said.

“But, if they have something to get Pakistan to agree upon, and using the Baloch card for it, then for Baloch people all this is not
acceptable,” he said.

Baloch people all over the world had great faith and trust in Dr. Allah Nazar as he his from the middle class.
