Baloch Society of North America Welcome H.E Ambassador
Eileen's remarks on Balochsitan at UNHRC meeting.
Dr. Wahid Baloch, president of Baloch Society of North America (BSO-NA), said he welcomes Her Excellency Ambassador Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe remarks on Balochistan
situation at the U.N. Human Rights Council but said that it fell far short of the Baloch expectations as the Baloch want the U.S and International community to physically intervene in
Balochistan to save lives of Baloch people and end the illegal and unjust occupation of their homeland by Pakistan and Iran.

"Balochistan was an independent sovereign state and was forcefully occupied by these two Islamic states against the will and consent of Baloch people. It is the duty of United
States and the international community to help Baloch re-gain their freedom against the occupiers." he said.

He asked the Obama Administration to direct the State Department and CIA to reach out to Baloch freedom fighters and help them in their fight for freedom and justice.

Dr. Baloch argued that a free independent democratic Balochistan is in the best interests of the larger cause of liberty, human rights, and democracy in the region.

Dr. Baloch has met U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, late senator Ted Kennedy, Reps. Gary Ackerman, Brad Sherman, former ambassadors Zalmay Khalilzad and John Bolton,
among others, to inform them about Balochistan.

He has traveled to Gulf, Europe and India to create awareness about Balochistan. He has also always stepped up to the plate to help and support young journalists.

Baloch activists hail Donahoe's concern over Balochistan

Washington, Nov.2 (ANI): The U.S.-based Baloch Society of North America (BSO-NA) hails the concern of US Ambassador to the UN in Geneva, Eileen Donahoe over 'growing
instability' in Balochistan perpetrated by Pakistan.

Donahoe alleged that security squads in the province, under their kill-and-dispose of policy, have been "targeting proponents of civil rights, local activists and their families,
journalists, political workers and student leaders".

She also raised concern over alienation of Baloch society and shrinking chances of peace in the region while taking part in the debate on the human rights situation in Pakistan
during a UN Human Rights Council meeting on October 30.

"This is not enough. We want the United States and International Community to physically intervene in Balochistan to save the live of Baloch people and an end of illegal
occupation by Pakistan and Iran", said Dr. Wahid Baloch, President of Baloch Society of North America in an e-mail sent to ANI.

He later added that Balochistan was never a part of Pakistan or Iran but was an independent sovereign state and was forcefully occupied by these two Islamic states against the
will and consent of Baloch people. It is the duty of United States and the international community to help Baloch to re-gain their freedom."

Balochistan as Pakistan's largest province is witnessing a severe human rights crisis as enforced disappearances, tortures and killings have gone up dramatically.

The movement for the end of "colonial rule" by Pakistan and Iran, and an independent Balochistan, is gaining momentum.

Currently the natural wealth of Balochistan is being exploited and in return the Baloch people have been given poverty, employment and social injustice.

This is why they seek urgent an intervention by the international community. (ANI)
