URGENT ACTION: A Baloch Mother's plea to Govt of Pakistan:
"Please do not hand over my innocent son to Iranian Government".

to every corner of the world. Please forward this message to as many people and authorities as you can. Dr. Imdad Baloch)

Press Conference:

Quetta Press club.
Date: May 15th, 2008

Respected Journalists

I am a mother of Baloch who are daily martyred, rendered homeless, bombarded,  jailed, tortured, kept in solitary confinements, disappeared. Youth
& aged are arrested in false cases in Eastern (Pakistan) and Western (Iran) Balochistan, and now it’s Ghulam Haider who is a Baloch
residence here. Despite of possessing all documents; birth certificate, identity card, passport, school certificates, local certificate etc. my son is
being declared Iranian Baloch & is going to be handed over to Iranian Government. Before this, my son was accused & arrested in a hostage case
but was released with honor. In spite of this, my son, Ghulam Haider Raisani, was illegally kept detained in District Jail Quetta like other thousands
of innocent Balochs without any case. If my son is handed over to cruel government of Iran, like other millions of Balochs, the Iranians can hang him
in an open main Chowk. In that case, this cruel state of Pakistan will be held responsible.

So I appeal to the United Nation, European Union, Amnesty International, Human Right Organizations and beside these, I also appeal to Baloch
Nationalist Parties, Organizations and Baloch Students Organizations & moderate/liberal parties to have serious notice of it and save my son from
being extradited to the Iran. If my son is handed over to Iranian Government, his execution would be considered as a joint conspiracy of East (Iran)
Balochistan & West (Pakistan) Balochistan. The violent death penalties of Balochs in West (Iran) Balochistan are done by Iranian regime to
accomplish its target and pride. Similar series of cruelty and violence continues from West & East Balochistan. Nawab Akber Khan Shaheed,
Nawabzada Balach Khan Marri Shaheed and Dr. Khalid Shaheed among thousand have been the victims and thousands of other Balochs are
deliberately detained in false cases and are left without hope and shelter. To this day, the incidents of cruelty continue with full swing.

As my son has been ordered to be released by the respected court, therefore, in place of giving him to another country, he should be released.

Thank You

Mother of Ghulam Haider Raisani

Dear Dr Imdad:

Thanks for sharing with us the appeal by the mother of Ghulam Haider Raisani Baloch a Pakistani national in Quetta jail. I request Baloch friends in
Quetta to submit this appeal to the Chief Minister of Balochistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.  I request Baloch in America and  European
countries to bring this appeal to the human rights organizations, media and their civilized governments to use their influence on Pakistan not to
extradite Ghulam Haider to Iran where his life will be in danger of certain death in the hands of Iranian security court.

Ameeri Baloch

To Baloch Legislators and Political Leaders,

The case of Ghulam Haider Raisani's arrest and  proposed extradition to Iran by Pakistani Government is considered to be a challenge to entire
Baloch nation and most particularly to the socalled elected Baloch representatives and their established provincial government. It is rightly felt that
the socalled Provincial Govt. is supposed to be the guardian of Balochs and Balochi interests. But the decision of Parwaiz Musharraf to extradite
Ghulam Haider Raisani to Iran and get him executed over there; exposes the bad designs of Paki government towards Baloch and Balochistan.
How could it be possible for a Baloch government to keep quiet on such voilations of human rights. If, however, the socalled provincial government
keeps on such a very serious question complete silence; which could rightly be interpretted that they are partner to this crime together with
Musharraf and destined to eliminate the very existence of Baloch from Balochistan. As such we the struggling people of Balochistan request the
elected members of Balochistan Government and  provincial assembly to stand with the suffering masses of Baloch nation and ask Musharraf as
not to extradite Ghulam Haider Raisani to Iran and further wage the hatred of Baloch nation. In case of refusal of their request by Pakistan Govt. they
must tender their resignation from the Government

and provincial assembly and stand beside their suffering masses. If, however, they fail to the request of Baloch nation

and be a party to anti-baloch crimes togather with Musharraf and Punjab; then they must be prepared to face Baloch anger and retaliation to their
illegal
and genocidal activities all over Balochistan. We hope the Baloch Lagislators would realise the  gravity of the situation and would adopt pro-baloch
attitude and would do their best to stop the extradition of Ghulam Haider Raisani and stop the law and order situation from further deterrioration.

Sincerely yours
JK Baloch

Gholam Haidar Baloch will be executed if he is transferred to Iran

Reza Hossein Borr
5/14/2008

Balochistan Human Rights Watch reported that Gholam Haidar Baloch, a Pakistan national who was arrested for carrying unauthorized arms in
Pakistan will be extradited to Iran after the court sentenced him for one-year imprisonment . The new government of Pakistan who has not sufficient
experience in foreign policy of the region has decided to deliver this Pakistani citizen as the Iranian government claims that he is an Iranian national
and he has committed crimes in Iran.

Gholam Haidar claims to be a Pakistan national as he carries a Pakistan identity card and his family and three children live in Pakistan too. He was
born in 1979 and his father's name is Khodabax. His delivery to Iran is against Pakistani law as he was sentenced this January 08 only for one year.

The Iranian regime claims that thousands of its opponents live in neighboring countries including Pakistan. It also claims that its opponents have
taken arm against it and they are involved in armed struggle.

Three to four million Baloch live in Iran. They have been the target of governments oppression, assassination, torture and executions since the
emergence of Islamic Republic of Iran as they are different racially and religiously from the Shia regime. The Baloch are Sunis and moderate in their
views. The Iranian regime has deliberately kept them poor and backward and has denied them business and job opportunities. Only about five
percent of the Baloch people have governmental jobs. The rest are making their living through farming, border trading and other small businesses.
Border trading that has been their main source of income has been recently stopped as the Iranian regime has erected huge walls like Berlin Wall
or the Walls in Palestine along the borders. It has also dug very deep canals at the borders. The Baloch people were exporting and importing
consumer products in and from Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Border trading is their most important way of living. According to an official figure, 76
percent of the Baloch people live under poverty line. This is a policy of complete deprivation of the Baloch people from the basic needs to force them
to the leave the country or starve from hunger.

Some young Baloch people who have been arrested and tortured by the government, took arms against the regime in the last few years and they
have been involved in severe armed clashes with the government. The Baloch people who have seen all doors and opportunities closed to them,
are desperate for making their voices heard.

Gholam Haidar is accused of being an active member of an armed organization. His parents and relatives have Pakistani identity card and
passports. Other Pakistan citizens have seen him growing up in Pakistan. Iran’s claim that he is an Iranian national is baseless and therefore, the
Pakistani government has no legal and moral authority to transfer this Pakistan national to Iran as when he is transferred to Iran he will be tortured
and forced into false confessions which will implicate other countries and specifically the Western and Middle Eastern countries in meddling in
Iranian affairs. As you are aware the Iranian regime has killed and executed a large number of Iranian and Baloch people. There is no doubt that
torture and hanging would wait for Ghlam Haidar Baloch if he is transferred to Iran.

Those Baloch people who were arrested inside Iran were forced to confess that they were spies of foreign countries. Gholam Haidar is a Pakistan
citizen and he has lived all his life in Pakistan and therefore, if he is transferred to Iran, he will be forced to confess that he had performed terrorist
activities by the instructions of United States of America, Britain and possibly other countries in the Middle East. This will be a huge embarrassment
not only for Baloch people but also for all other countries that have been accused by the Iranian government for supporting the Iranian opposition.

Take the necessary urgent action on prohibiting the extradition of a
young pakistani-baloch to Iran
May 15, 2008

Following the reports from Balochistan Human Rights Watch (BHRW), a young pakistani nationality holder baloch is beeing extradited by Pakistani
government to Islamic republic of Iran.

This young baloch, Gholam Haidar Baloch – son of Khodabaksh born in 1979, who originates from a area near by Quetta, has already been
sentenced to imprisonment in Pakistan, where he has been in custody for approximately one year, and where he was claimed to carry unauthorized
arms.
At the present he is in custody in Quetta’s central jail in order to be extradited to Iran. Despite the fact that the court sentenced to imprisonment him in
January 2008, and despite the fact that Gholam Haidar has already spent 5 monthes of the imprisonment, the new Pakistani minister of the interior
has changed the sentence and has decided to extradit him. His parents, family and 3 children are strongly worried about the fate he is going to
meet, if the Pakistani authorities extradit him to Iran.

Islamic regime in Iran claims that several of its opponents live in Pakistan, and Gholam Haidar is one of the opponents. But the fact is that there are
plenty of persons (friends, teachers, neighbours) who have known him since he was a child, and therefore Iran’s claims that he is an Iranian
national is completely baseless, and therefore the Pakistani government has no legal and moral authority to transfer this young baloch to Iran, as he
is transferred to Iran he will be tortured and forced into false confessions. It has to emphasized that his parents and his own family members are all
holder of pakistani national, and hold all pakistani aquired documents incl. ID-card, driving liscence, school documents, passport etc.
As informed, the Islamic republic of Iran has already killed and still killing hundreds / thousands of young Baloch with false allegations such as
participation in drug handling processes and / or participation in armed groups. As informed also, the acused persons have been killed with no any
right for justice defence against the false allegations. When it is not possible for the regime to take such allegations in use, it does not hesitate to
claim the Baloch are politically active agains the regime.

Therefore we in Balochistan Human Right Watch fear for the life of Gholam Haidar Baloch and would like to call international attention, the Amnesty
International in particular, to our concern. Nevertheless we would like the international community to take the necessary immediate action on this
particular important matter.

Thanking you in advance
Yours sincerely
