BREAKING NEWS:  BSO factions announce merger Sunday, February 12, 2006 Staff Report QUETTA: The three factions of the Baloch Students’ Organisation (BSO) announced a merger on Saturday. Addressing a joint press conference in front of Quetta Press Club, the BSO (Aman), BSO (Asif) and BSO (Muttahida) vowed to use the joint platform to support the Baloch people’s struggle for their rights. BSO (Aman) leader Amanullah said that the party supported the struggle of those Baloch who had gone to the mountains to fight for their rights.Asif Baloch said that the BSO would not be manipulated by any political party, and vowed to support all parties working for the cause of Balochistan. They announced a 27-member committee including a cabinet. The cabinet consists of: Chairman Amanullah, Vice Chairman Dr Imdad, Secretary General Asif Baloch, Deputy Secretary general Javed Baloch and Press Secretary Mahyuddin Baloch.
