Oslo: A protest demonstration was held in Oslo against the on going military operation in Pakistani and Iranian
occupied Balochistan. A large number of Baloch activists and other human rights workers attended the protest to

regimes for inflicting inhuman torture on innocent Baloch civilian and mass killing of baloch people. They also
strongly condemn illegal arrests and forced disappearance of Baloch youth, political activists and Baloch leaders
by the hand of Punjabi army.
Press release:
The fifth operation against the Baloch by the Pakistani Punjabi army has already been launched with fighter jets,
gunship helicopters, heavy artillery and military hard wares. During the military operation, the Baloch people have
been subjected to severe human rights violations ranging from enforced disappearances, torture, mass killings,
target killings, illegal detention of civil and political activists. In March 2007, a full-fledged military operation was
launched in Tump-Mand and Mashkay areas of Balochistan. Only during the month of March, more than 50 Baloch
were killed, several injured and about 100 were disappeared or are being detained by the security agencies.
Furthermore, more than 200,000 people have been displaced. During the last five years of military operation,
according to human rights organizations and UNHCR, more than 6000 people have been disappeared, 1000
killed and about 840000 displaced.
On the other hand, Iranian regime has also started a military operation against the Baloch of the Iranian Occupied
Balochistan. After the bomb blast in Zahidan, reportedly by a shadowy organization known as Jundullah, which
killed more than 40 personnel of the Revolutionary guards, hundreds of Baloch have been arrested. Some of them
were later publicly hanged by the Iranian regime. According to reports, some 850 Baloch are in the custody of
Iranian security agencies who have already been condemned to be hanged. Furthermore, Iranian regime has built
a wall on its border with Pakistan dividing the Baloch people. Pakistan and Iran have joined hands to suppress the
Baloch.
Military campaign at Tump-Mand area was launched by both the regimes in collaboration. Both the regimes have
also started a search operation in Makkuran area and have arrested several innocent Baloch. Baloch Unity
Conference Norway shows its grave concern over the excesses of Pakistani and Iranian regimes against the
Baloch nation.
BUC Norway appeals to the United Nations and the civilized countries of the world to immediately intervene into the
matter and stop the acts of state terrorism by both the aforementioned regimes against the Baloch people. Baloch
Unity Conference Norway strongly proposes that a fact-finding mission should be established by the United
Nations to visit the restive region of Balochistan.
