Save 8 Baloch refugees in U.K. from extra-judicial
killing by Pakistani Military.
Dear Sirs/Madame
To hide their crimes of killing British and NATO soldiers in Afghanistan in the cover name of Talibans and deny to
hand-over Osman bin Ladan, Mullah Ummer, Dr. A.Q. Khan and bombers of Pakistani Jehadis in Great Britain,
Pakistani Military has planned to catch 8 Baloch Refugees in United Kingdom in bargain of their one guy, Mr. Rauf,
who is accused of planning to hijack passenger planes in London.
Leaving the terrorist activities of Pakistanis in Britain which were sponsored and planned by ISI of Pakistan aside,
the 8 Balochs, among them Mr. Mehran Baloch and Gazian Baloch, are not terrorists. They have neither carried-out
any terrorist activities nor sponsored any terrorist activities. Even Gazian Baloch was released from a Court of
Justice of Abu-Dubai.
Pakistanis Military has lauched an intensive military attack on Balochs in Balochistan. Thousands of
Baloch youths have been arrested and are missing. They are seeking refugee in the mountains to save their lives
and some of them fled to neighbouring countries and a few to Europe.
The continues attacks on Balochs and denial of their genuine rights has obliged Balochs to struggle for their
complete independence from Pakistan. Not only EIGHT BALOCH REFUGEES OF U.K. but the whole 8 million
Baloch nation sympathise with the struggle of Balochs, who strive for their right of self-determination.
It is a totall lie of Pakistani Military of labelling Mr. Mehran Baloch and others in U.K. as terrorists. The eight
respected Balochs seek shelter in United Kingdom to save their lives. They are human-right activists, leaders of
their respected political parties and "Prisoners of their consience."
Musharaf lies as he says that 4000 Balochs and hundreds of other Pakistanis, abducted by his ISI, went to Iraq
and Afghanistan and other countries to to take part in Jehad. He even lied before that, "the Pakistani women
arrange to be gang-raped to get foreign Passports", committing on the cases of the gang-rape victims of
Mukhtaran Mai and Shazia Khalid. Day and night he arranges lies from his magic box of " fraud and cheatings" and
befool American Administration and the western world to pick money from their pockets exploiting Afghanistan and
other crisis..
Handing over the genuine Baloch political activists to Pakistani Military as a bargain for Mr. Rauf, probably an ISI
agent and,thus, apeasing the Military Gods of Pakistan shall neither help to decrease the attacks of Pakistani
sponsored Talibani attacks on British forces in Afghanistan nor shall be a wise strategy to establish democracy in
Pakistan.
We request to postpone the U.K/Pakistan agreement of "Transfer of Prisoners" untill the establishment of a real
democracy in Pakistan which should be ruled by people not by Military.
Further more, Pakistan-U.K. joint judicial co-operation should be suspended untill Pakistan get a true independent
Judiciary system.
We appeal the men of conscience and justice that the "eight Baloch refugees" in U.K., including Mr. Mehran Baloch
& Gazian Marri, may kindly, not be handed over to Pakistani Military as they shall face torture and extra-judicial
execution. In contrary, they have the right to get asylum in U.K. under the Geneva convention.

London, Mar 29 : Pakistan is learnt to have asked the UK to extradite as many as eight persons living there for
several years and allegedly had a hand in uprising in Balochistan, in return of terror suspect Rashid Rauf (26).
Rauf was nabbed in Pakistan on charges of planning to blow off an airline.
Among those wanted in Pakistan are Baloch nationalist leaders Mehran Baloch and Ghazian Marri. Baloch (33) is
the chairman of the Balochistan Rights Movement. A resident of London, he has lived in Britain for more than two
decades, reported The Guardian.
Rauf's arrest in Pakistan in August had led to a series of raids in Britain to crack an alleged plot to take liquid
explosives aboard US-bound airliners. At the time of arerst, Pakistan had identified Rauf as a key suspect in the
alleged plot.
But, those demanded by Pakistan maintain that they should not be categorised as terror suspects as Rauf.
"What offences have I committed? I am standing up for human rights, I am speaking out against the
disappearances going on Balochistan, " the paper quoted Mehran Baloch as saying.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz yesterday said that Pakistan was looking forward to an early
signing of the "Transfer of Prisoners' Agreement" and conclusion of an extradition treaty with Britain.

Pak demands extradition of 8 Baloch leaders from UK in exchange of Rashid Rauf
I was shocked to read the article of the Guardian "Pakistan seeks swap deal to extradite Baloch dissidents
living in Britain" that the British lawyers and the government are holding secret talks with Pakistan’s Punjabi army
and agencies. The report further said that Pakistan wants to handover Rashid Rauf to the British authorities and in
return wants something. That something is the extradition of Baloch Human Rights Activist Mr Mehran Baluch a
British citizen. Mr Baluch has completed his education in the UK and lived in the UK for more then 20 years.
He has been raising the Baloch issue on international level since 2000. It beyond ones’ thought why the Pakistani
government (the Punjabi army and ISI) is so worried about the Mr Baluch’s work. First reason is Mr Baluch is
highlighting the Baluch issue on international level and Pakistan does not want to the Baloch issue to be
internationalised. Second reason is Pakistan is slowly loosing its grip on Balochistan as Baloch Nation has stud
up for their Freedom. Mr Baluch is uncovering the Pakistan’s crimes against humanity in Balochistan that is a
harsh reality and the truth. Pakistan has carried out five (5) major army operations in Balochistan and killed
thousands of Baloch children women and elderly people in each operation. Peoples’ houses have
been destroyed and corps burnt down. Many thousands have been displaced forcefully form their own motherland.
Only recently, a survey by the U.N. children’s agency, UNICEF, has counted 84,000 displaced people, including
26,000 women and 33,000 children. They are living like refugees in tier own motherland Balochistan. Pakistan
government has made no efforts help them. Baloch organisation and political parties say the number of displaced
people is even higher they estimated that more then 300,000 (Three hundred thousand) Baloch people displaced
and living a life of below human standards. Tens of thousands of women, children and elderly have died due to
disease and malnutrition, a generation is being deprived of it basic rights of education, health and the chose
where to live.
Pakistani army has disappeared one of great Baloch Nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and 40 of his
companions on 26th August 2006. According to the government, they have killed him during an operation but his
body has never been shown to his family member and friends.
Akhtar Mengal a former chief minister and the head of Balochistan National party has been arrested and accused
for undone crimes. Mr Mengal is in jail being treated like a worst kind of criminal.
Ghulam Mohammed Baloch the head of Baloch National Movement, Sher Mohammed Baloch, Saleem
Baloch and Kazim Bugti of JWP have been kidnapped by the Pakistani agencies and army. The army has not
produced them to any court of law since their kidnap. According Law a person should be presented to the court of
law with 24 hours of his arrest but in Balochistan, there are people who are missing since 42 months still no
family member is told about their whereabouts.
Mr Munir Mengal arrested in April 2005 the MD of Balochvoice Radio, Mr Ali arrested in 2004 Asghar Bangulzai and
Mr Gorham Saleh arrested in 2005 have not been presented to any court of law since their arrest. No family
member has been informed about their health condition or even whether they are still alive and have been tortured
to death.
Army operation with indiscriminate use of firepower including fighter jets, helicopter gunship, long-range artillery
guns, cluster and chemical bombs are being used against the Baluch.
While the genocide of the Baloch nation is being carrying out the international community is a silent spectator,
when Saddam Hussain was hanged for using chemical weapons against the Kurds twenty years back.
The world has ignored Musharraf for using the same weapons today on the Baloch people. Not only has the
international community turned a blind eye towards injustices against the Baloch, but at the same time aiding a
rogue tyrant state of Pakistan with its dictator to crush and eliminate the Baloch struggle.
Pakistan’s self-proclaimed president and the army dictator general musharraf on several occasions have
threatened to eliminate Baloch Nation. I hope everyone still remembers his words "I WILL HIT YOU SO
HARD WILL NOT KNOW WHAT HIT YOU".
Balochistan issue is no less then the issue of Kashmir and Palestine. The international community must
understand the Baluch problem rather then just closing their eye and do as Pakistan says to them. If the Punjabis
are successful in illegally extraditing our Baloch brothers like this then they will be able to suppress our voices
once and for all. The Punjabis have blocked our sites banned our publications, killed our leaders, abducted our
brothers and labelled our freedom struggle as terrorism. Why the international community cannot see the
Pakistani state terrorism? Why is the international community a silent spectator to Baluch genocide? Do
international laws for protection for human rights not apply to the Baluch people? Are Baluch and Human being?
Why we do not have the right to live free, speak free and decide our own fate?
Now if they are successful in extraditing Mehran Baluch and our political activists from western countries then
where is the international justice, human rights, Geneva conventions where Mr Baluch goes every year to seek
justice? Where are the UK’s claims of being a champion of Human Rights? If a country like United
Kingdom, which has a history for protecting the Human Right and justice, can extradite our political worker
because of Pakistani pressure then where else can one go to seek protection and justice?
The international community, International Human Rights Organisations, EU and the United Nations must
recognise the Baluchistan issue as Baluch point of view if the humanity is to survive. If today, the
Western countries extradite our leader and political worker under Pakistani pressure and lies. Then humanity will
have no more hope and expectations form such organisations. The United Kingdom and other Western countries
must think well before taking any action against Baloch political activist in UK and elsewhere.
In the end, I must warn the International community that "PAKISTAN IS FRIEND OF ON ONE ITS LIKE A POISNESS
SNAKE WHICH WILL STING THE HAND THAT FEEDS IT".
